 Our music is inspired by a wide spectrum of influences ranging from African folk music to wide open "on the spot" improvised creations. Our improvisations juxtapose minimal and meditative atmospheres with freewheeling excursions into "terra incognito" terrains. 

    We like to mix these elements up with a few compositions from some, great jazz composers such as Thelonious Monk , Wayne Shorter , Carle Bley & Paul Motian (amongst others).

     We also perform a number of original pieces as well as tunes from some good friends that are excellent composers. 

     Exploratory , ephemeral , eclectic and perhaps a bit eccentric are just a few of the words to describe our musical aspirations and where we're coming from.
